This excellent work is an homage to the genius of the inventors, makers and now, the painter of a device that literally changed the world. Your photographic quality rendering makes the viewer keep looking--if one listens, they can hear the click-click of the keys and the ding of the bell when the carriage is thrown.

A very difficult choice in subject matter! Did very well with the values, and little color to play with! :D

Umm...Fascinating!Your works aspire me,not necessarily to be as good as you, but to be called a painter and somehow to feel like I am connected in the same catergory to people of your caliber.Your passion for your work definitely shows in your paintings and although I can't paint it yet I surely feel it.This is a beautiful Painting,photorealism for sure.Your Santa series is very Cool,also.

ah denny, you take me on a trip down memory lane with your masterful technique, dramatic use of composition and lights and shadows.... i am guessing many a writer will be wading through memories as well with stories popping out of their heads....a beautiful one yet again!
